HIV 1/2 Rapid Test Kit

This HIV 1/2 rapid cassette detects antibodies to HIV-1 and HIV-2 in whole blood, serum or plasma by lateral-flow immunoassay, giving a result in 15–20 minutes with clinical sensitivity and specificity above 99%. It supports private, at-home screening; the parcel is shipped in plain, discreet packaging. A non-reactive result during the window period (up to 3 months after exposure) may need repeating, and any reactive result must be confirmed by a laboratory (4th-generation ELISA / Western blot). HIV testing is most useful alongside counselling and medical follow-up. Kit contains one cassette, buffer, dropper and instructions. Store at 4–30°C.
